The practice is very excited to see the start of construction on the Boonah House, a weekender on 50 acres of pastural land. This house explores the linear, rational plan that responds directly to the topography of the site and opportunities for view. The architecture reflects this simplicity with a simple but robust palette of materials reflective of their context. A large indoor/ outdoor terrace articulates the otherwise rectangular plan and punctuates the end of the living area. The team at Bev Jenner Constructions are on the job again and we are looking forward to their enormous input and passion through the build. Thanks to our clients who have remained true to their original vision and for tackling something special in this unique location……watch this space!
