Hampton Farm
2018
Traditional lands of the Turrbal and Jagera people
Hampton Farm is a substantial modern family home situated on acreage in Brookfield. Conceived for a return client, the planning comprises of a 73 metre long linear plan, offering optimal orientation and access to the breeze.
The architecture draws its inspiration from the ‘Western Suburbs’ 70’s brick and weatherboard ‘split-gable’ narrative so common in the area. The master plan encompasses landscape design, swimming, tennis, edible gardens, staff accommodation, equestrian facilities, walking tracks and creek rehabilitation, with a view to a long-term, sustainable occupation of the site.
