North Lane is a dramatic alteration and addition to an iconic “Straddie Shack” on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island)

The deceptively small beach home explores the idea of retractable edges and flexible transparency while maximising accommodation. A simple robust palette of weathering timber externally and rich ply timber internally make for a relaxed and warm living experience.
